The holiday season is not only about shopping and gift giving but more than anything it’s all about getting together with friends and family to celebrate those friendships and love you have for one another! One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is hosting! I am one of those people that usually hosts my friends for holiday parties and I’m typically the one out of the family who hosts the holiday! Christmas is always spent at my house and I take pride in decorating and creating a unique holiday entertaining experience!
This year I’m having so much fun with the new Papyrus holiday entertaining line which is actually making my life a LOT easier! Not only is it absolutely adorable, but they have everything I need to host an incredible party and make it incredibly easy for me of all things! Today I thought I’d show you a little behind the scenes as I get ready for a little holiday get together with friends and family!
For today’s festivities it’s more about celebrating with small bites and drinks which is always something I love to do. I always like to have a lot of little bites and snacks that people can help themselves to and dig in! I feel it makes everything a lot easier and much less pressure that way everyone can pick and choose what they want and you don’t have to guess what they will and will not like! I’m keeping everything simple and festive using the Papyrus holiday entertaining line to decorate as well as use for plate, napkins, food picks and more.
Wondering what makes for some great small bites?! Some of my favorites include:
*Popcorn (kettle corn or white cheddar)
*Any kind of cheese & crackers (because who doesn’t love cheese?!)
*Hummus — always a hit!
*Chocolate (or yogurt) covered pretzels give that little sweet fix
*Sparkling water & wine!
Hope you guys get a little inspiration from today’s post for your next holiday party and make sure to check out more from Papyrus here!
Big thanks to Papyrus for sponsoring this post.

I’ve never thought of putting out popcorn but such a great idea for this time of the year! Maybe even a popcorn bar where you can add toppings!
