Let’s be honest: These days, who isn’t looking for a low-key style?! Something that is quick, easy, and dependable, and gives off a stylish vibe at the same time? I know I am ALWAYS on the hunt for that. It’s called the athleisure trend. I can spend less time worrying about how I look and more time feeling confident because, as we all know, when we FEEL confident, we EXUDE confidence, right?

I’m starting off the new year with low-key stylish tips to show you that you really can make low-key glam possible in every way!

Typical days for me are spent running around, whether that be errands, the gym, groceries, or, well, the list goes on and on. I usually want an easy style that’s comfortable and versatile and doesn’t slow me down. The athleisure trend is one like my look above that I wear a LOT: black leggings and a black cowl-neck tunic. Although I often go for numerous colors in tunics over my leggings, for today’s look I wanted to go all black to show how chic this athleisure look could actually be. For me, it’s one of those outfits that looks put together but really it was a grab-and-go look—and comfort was my number one concern.

The two looks above are all athleisure trend items from Target that I love. Option 2 is a sweater dress that I thought would be great paired with leggings and booties for more of a date-night look or a night out with girlfriends, but you still get that comfort that we all desire! Option 3 is another great option for a tunic look with leggings and my favorite—rain boots! This is just a fun look that would be great during the day or at night as well!
