A Year Older and Wiser

They say as you age you become wiser and boy is that the truth or what? This past weekend I turned 29 and as I enter into the last year of my twenties I have been doing a lot of reflecting. I mean truthfully, it does slightly terrify me that my twenties flew by SO fast but I do still have ONE more year to call myself a “twenty something year old.”

So lets all give me some credit okay?

In all seriousness, I look back and see how much I’ve grown as a person, as a woman and just an overall human being. I’ve actually come to a point in my life where I realized, “wow, I made it,” and I have to admit, that’s a pretty fulfilling thing. It was always very important for me to get an education, become well rounded and independent. I’ve always wanted to provide for myself and accomplish things on my own and to have hit those accomplishments in my twenties is something I’m so grateful for.

As much as I joke about getting older, the reality is it truly is only a number and I think it’s important not to take yourself too seriously sometimes.

With all that being said, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been following my journey for some time now. Whether you are a long time follower from the beginning or a brand new one, I am so appreciative that you have chosen to come here from time to time to see what I am up to. You all inspire me to continue to live out my dream and I just can’t thank you enough.

Here’s to many more years of feeling young, wild & free!
