Denim Cutoffs

Sometimes there’s nothing more effortless than a good pair of denim cutoffs, an oversized comfy knit and a pair of your most comfy sandals (that double as a stylish piece). Growing up in San Diego, this is pretty much a staple for any SoCal girl to be honest. There’s something easy yet chic about the whole look and it gives off that effortless vibe as well. I’ll let you guys on a little secret too – when it comes to shopping for cutoffs I always size up since I like that looser fit. I don’t mind pairing it with a belt since it gives the outfit another accessory to play with and I just love a loser look on a cutoff short. Plus, I’ll say, I’m a little more on the conservative side when it comes to shorts. Love it or hate it, but that’s me! Now, when it comes to shoes – I am a firm believe that I need to add height to my 5’4 frame so I always try to get a shoe that gives me a couple more inches, even if its not much. Continuing on with my Christian Siriano for Payless obsession from NYFW, I got these newbies for Spring and I’m obsessed! They give me a couple more inches and on top of it, they are SO comfy! I could walk ALL day, no joke. They are fabulous for those casual Spring days and can go with virtually any outfit in my book. They fit true to size and you won’t even believe the price. C.
