As you guys know from my instagram, blog, snapchat and probably every other form of social media out there, I cannot WAIT for my trip to New York Fashion Week this week with Payless ShoeSource! I mentioned it in this post previously speaking about how we are collaborating together for the trip and I honestly cannot believe it’s already here! I am going to be discussing Fashion on a Budget and in particular New York Fashion Week on a Budget!!

For those of you who have followed me for a while, then you know I like to mix both high and low price points when it comes to fashion. I’m more one that loves to find total steals and make them look glam! I love when people ask me where I got my outfit and when I tell them the reaction is, “Oh my goodness, no you did not!!”

There really is no better feeling than that.

It makes you feel like you’ve done something right in the fashion world. And to me, that is to show everyday people like you and me that we can afford all those glam styles without breaking the bank! So when Payless and I discussed the theme of NYFW on a budget I knew it was totally up my alley. I just knew I could transform these looks into something you all would LOVE (or so I hope).

Obviously right now I live in Southern California where the weather is beautiful and sunny, however I am heading to NYC and it will be cold and who knows — we could get some snow! I thought it would be fun today to show you how versatile Payless ShoeSource items can be. Today I wanted to dress them up as I would a casual day in San Diego and show you how amazing and different their styles can be for colder weather as well! Fashion on a budget is all about putting a little thought into the looks and just not thinking so much about the price point of the items.

Today I’m wearing Christian Siriano for Payless bag and shoes (which by the way are insanely comfortable). I could just as easily see this bag and these flats with a black ensemble to dress it up for a night out as well. For NYFW I have a few different pairs of Payless shoes and a few different Christian Siriano for Payless handbags that I’m definitely going to be utilizing during my stay. Because of the cold, I went with more cold weather options such as boots, booties and closed toe pumps which I cannot WAIT to show you guys!

Yep, they are that hot!
