Well if you guys know me by now then you know I love the beach. While most bloggers photos are street style inspired and more downtown vibes, mine are typically spent at the beach. What can I say, I’m a total SoCal girl at heart and that will just never change! My style is completely inspired by easy breezy pieces and things that the everyday gal would wear.

Being a beach gal and with the summer months in full swing, I’m always wearing hats. One, they protect your face from the sun so that you stay young and wrinkle free forever (or so we hope) and two, they look fabulous, right?! The one thing I have had yet to find was that perfect straw hat. You know, the round straw hat you can wear to the beach or out casually for a full day of fun in the sun. They were all just flimsy, boring and well,.. not cute. I have to admit, I saw Hemlock Hat Co on Instagram a few times prior to actually getting some of their hats and I was immediately OBSESSED. They were SO stinking CUTE I was hooked just by photographs. Let me tell you — that doesn’t happen often for me.

Needless to say, I knew I had to have one…. or 4 to be exact. 

Not gonna lie, I still feel like I need more designs. I swear, you will be addicted once you jump on the bandwagon. But I’ll live… for now.

Even though I LOVED the photos you can never be quite sure how the quality of products are until you actually have them in your hand, right? Well, these are right on POINT. Quality is amazing, sturdy and the designs are just as perfect in person as they are in photos. The sun protection is amazing and as an Esthetician I am ALL about that. You’ve probably been seeing all my posts on Instagram wearing them and that’s honestly because I genuinely LOVE the brand.

I will say another thing. The MINUTE I wore this hat I had two people come up to me (one including my mother) asking me where the hat was from. My mother in turn made me get her hats of her own and is now obsessed herself. The other day at the beach I got compliments as well. Truly a genius design and a top notch product.
