Kylie Lip Kit + Lip Gloss First Impressions

As you all know, lately the crazy has been the beloved Kylie Cosmetics lip products.

I don’t know how she did it but that girl captured us all with her gorgeous plumped lips and now we all want a piece of it. I of course jumped on the bandwagon and wanted to see what all the hype was about so I did my research and somehow managed to find a way to buy most of her matte lip kits and glosses even though they are ALWAYS sold out.

Before I purchased them, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go through the hassle trying to purchase them at the right time when they were getting re-stocked and all that because well, I didn’t even know what the colors were like and if I would even like them! So I’ll be honest, I went online and looked around to see if I could find photos of her wearing all the different shades to research which ones I wanted and such.

Boy was that a LOT of work.

Because I went through a lot of headaches trying to figure it out, I thought I’d simplify it for you guys and create a blog post/video so YOU could all decide if the hype was worth it and if you wanted them for yourself! So first up,let’s take a look at the glosses that I have: 

I have to admit, I’m actually OBSESSED with her glosses. I said it in the video I did (below) but I may even prefer her glosses over her matte lipsticks a bit more. It could be that I’m just more of a gloss girl or not too used to matte lipsticks all that much. Her glosses are FABULOUS. I have these four (above) and already want to get more. Honestly, the only reason I don’t have the others is because they happened to be sold out when I went to purchase them. But after trying these ones and loving every single shade, I’m absolutely sure that I will love them all.

I have to say, my favorite ones are Literally and Posie K. 

I also want to mention that when I apply my lip glosses, I always do line my lips still! I use her liners that I got with my lip kits and they work AWESOME for it. I also believe that now she is selling her liners separately so you don’t have to buy the matte lipsticks to get the lip liners anymore.

Now let’s move onto her signature matte lipsticks:

Here are 4 of the matte lipsticks that I have created a chart for. If you watch the video below I swatch and review one other matte lipstick I have that is not included here so make sure to watch it! Also, if you watch my video below you will see my thoughts on each color and such. My favorite of all of them was Candy K and Koko K but that is probably mostly because I’m into the pink-er shades. Dolce k was a little too brown for me although it is a gorgeous color, and exposed was a bit too nude for me. Like I said, I also swatch Posie k in my video below which is another one of my favorites. I will say, her mattes are great and last forever! I can eat with them and go about my day and they don’t budget at ALL. To be honest at the end of the day they are even hard to get off! So if you are looking for something that truly does last, these are great.
