Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was so nice and pretty mellow — saved one day for a lazy day (which is always nice once in a while) and yesterday went to the beach to work on my tan! It was such a gorgeous day! Now it’s back to the grind, right?!

Today is one of my favorite summer looks! This Leith front tie blouse is one of my absolute FAVS right now! The black and white stripes along with the floral design is so fitting and has me hooked! I also had gotten these high rise denim black shorts from GUESS around the same time and I’m literally obsessed with them — so much that I ended up getting the same cut of shorts in all of their denim colors! I know, I may have gone a little extreme but for me, when I find a pair of denim shorts (or pants) that I am in LOVE with, I stock up! I think I’ve also mentioned it before but I will say again — for shorts I always size up 1-2 sizes. The reason for that is I prefer a denim short look that is loose and baggy and not tight BUT not everyone is like me. I just prefer to have lots of room in my denim shorts especially since I am usually throwing them on over a swimsuit or something. I’m a big fashion advocate but I’ve said it a million times, if I’m not comfortable in what I’m wearing, I won’t feel confident. So, I try not to look at the numbers and sizing and just stick with what looks and feels good on me. THAT is what makes me happiest and I think everyone should always live by that philosophy!
