Happy Monday everyone! Hope you guys had an awesome weekend! Yesterday was my nephew’s birthday so I spent the day with lots of kiddos and boy do they have energy for DAYS! He just turned 1 and I cannot believe how fast the time flew by. I naturally had to buy him a couple outfits so that he could be the most stylish kid in town so totally can’t wait to see him strut his stuff in them 😉

In other news – the heat in SD has NOT gone down. In fact, I think it’s getting hotter. It’s actually quite terrifying how hot it’s been, seriously. I think the other day was between 90-100 degrees and listen — the only thing I want to do right now is wear my layers and boots. Since I can’t really do that without completely suffocating myself, this is a typical outfit of mine for the days. A long maxi skirt, and a simple white cropped top! I love maxi skirts since they are very flattering on and they give off a pulled together look without having to try too hard.
