My Biggest Pet Peeves & Why

We all have pet peeves, right? I’m breaking down an updated version of some of my biggest pet peeves and I’m wondering if you guys agree or disagree? Let me know!

People who are chronically late
Some people are consistently late. They’re so consistent in their lateness in fact, that you can set your watch by them. They’re the ones that if you tell them to be there at 8, they show up at 8:20. It’s almost like they do it on purpose as if they’re sending you a message that their time is more valuable than yours. If you’re always late, it’s not fashionable – it’s rude.

The person who constantly bashes everything you like
Oh my god, do I hate these people. It seems like every once in a while you run into a person who, whenever you share what you like always bashes every single thing you say. If you like apples, apples suddenly are terrible. If you like a certain show that show is automatically the worst show on television. I literally cannot handle it.

Constant cell phone distraction 
I’m going to be honest. This is my number one biggest pet peeve in people. I CANNOT and I mean CANNOT stand when I’m talking to someone and they’re neck deep into their phone screen. It’s so annoying. It’s not like I am a person standing here, physically in front of you, trying to engage you in meaningful conversation or anything. I WORK for a living on my computer and cell phone and I’m not nearly on my screen as much as half the people I come across! Literally it has got to be the most obnoxious thing in the world, I could go on all day about it, but I won’t. You get the point…

People who watch videos in public spaces with no headphones
I was actually just somewhere the other day and this exact scenario happened. Anyone who can comfortably watch videos or play songs in public out loud with no headphones on is a brazen you-know-what in my opinion. How is it that your personal entertainment takes precedence over everyone else’s preferences? You have go to be real annoying if that’s what you do. Oh and everyone else thinks you’re annoying too, FYI.

When you are standing in line but the person behind you is literally slow close to you they are breathing down your neck.
I swear, I don’t know how many times I’ve had to deal with this in my life but it’s getting SO obnoxious. If we are all in a single file line and there is really no where to go, why must you stand in my personal space and practically be on top of my shoes.

On that note, what about stopping in the middle of a crowded path or hallway?
Nothing like walking in a hallway then bam all the sudden the person in front of you just stops. It’s as if they think they own the entire space and no one is needing to get around them. Like move to the side people!!

Not making your bed in the morning.
I am convinced people who don’t make their bed in the morning live an entirely unorganized life. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t make my bed. I swear I almost make the bed before I go to sleep at night but that’s a little extreme, I know…

I’m stressed enough just writing this and thinking about all my pet peeves. It’s time I get a nice glass of vino and relax. What are your biggest pet peeves?
