One thing I am OBSESSED with when it comes to skin care? Masks! I wish I could say I was kidding but I literally do a mask on my skin about 4-5 days a week. I know, maybe slightly excessive but it does wonders for me and I swear there’s something about treating your skin with a mask at home that really helps with “maintenance” as I say.
With that being said I thought why not write up a post all about my favorite facial masks to date. Hope you enjoy!
Vichy Quenching Mineral Face Mask – Okay you guys, this is one of my holy grail masks I swear. I have told you guys in the past that I tend to have extremely dry skin. With that means I try not to use too many clay/mud masks and instead stick to super hydrating masks. This one fits the bill entirely. It has a gel like consistency after using it just one time your skin feels instantly soft and more hydrated. With this mask, since its a hydrating gel type, I apply a thing layer and just allow it to absorb into my skin – no rinsing needed! When my skin is feeling extra tired and dry, I do this mask before going to bed and wake up feeling 10x better the next day. If that wasn’t enough, the mask contains vitamin B3 and the Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water from the French Volcanoes. I mean……. need I say more?
Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Mask – This stuff is amazing and good for all skin types. I put this on and ten minutes later any and all dryness I have on my face is GONE! It is cream based and so easy to apply evenly over your skin. The hero ingredient in this mask is Mango butter which is rich in fatty acids and is known for re-hydrating the skin and protecting it from dehydration. It makes my skin less dry, much softer and smoother, and definitely more hydrated!
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask – If you are on the more oily side, this one may be the mask for you. This mask is great for sucking the oil out of pores. It’s one of those masks that I know I can turn to for a quick mid-week pore de-clogging. It gets the job done and my skin always feels really nice and fresh afterwards. Since I do have dry skin, I stick to using this once every two weeks but I also use it as a spot treatment for the occasional breakout and it seems to help especially in the initial stages.
GlamGlow Super-Mud Clearing Treatment – This is another mask that is great but you do have to be careful with it if you tend to be oily. I usually only use this (like I said above) once every two weeks to be on the safe side because I am extra dry. However, if you tend to be very acne prone and oily, this is a great mask to use more often. This mask helps target, prevent and heal problem skin. Its powerful, skin-clearing mud visibly draws out dirt and congestion while a proprietary six-acid blend dramatically brightens and softens skin. It works to magnetically draw out dirt and pores with Activated-X Charcoal, leaving skin smooth and healthy-looking.
GlamGlow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment – This is a hydration mask designed to give you dewy, supply skin in a single treatment. When you first put it on it almost smells kind of like Vanilla or something of the sort. You will notice a cool sensation that stays as long as you leave it on your face. Most people don’t understand that when it comes to a hydrating mask you can typically leave it on your face and wait until your skin absorbs it fully (almost like a moisturizer) or you can wash off the excess. For me, I actually am extremely dry so I prefer the first option which is to leave it on
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Mask – For a more affordable priced mask, this one is a fantastic option. And if you are more into the sheet masks, this is just that. This moisturizing face mask has hyaluronic acid and instantly quenches dry skin and contours to your skin for optimal absorption, leaving it supple and hydrated. Once applied, the face mask contours to your skin and seals in its hydrating formula for optimal absorption to deliver clinically proven results.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask – OMG you guys I love a good eye mask!! I use them when my skin feels extra tired and puffy and I need my eyes to look more awake and “put together.” I usually apply these under my eye area and just do my morning routine while it works. It helps wake me up because the eye area feels cool and refreshed then in just about 10 minutes, eyes look more rested, renewed fine, dry lines are plumped as skin is drenched with hydration.

I just love facial masks, too! I usually use ones I get in my subscription boxes, but all of these that you’ve reviewed sound great! I really need to try one or two (especially with that Sephora sale going on!). I love eye masks as well, but haven’t tried the Estee Lauder one!
