As you guys have probably seen by following me on social media, you have probably noticed that my workouts have consisted a little less at the gym and a little more in my home thanks to the Mirror!
This is literally one of my favorite new inventions EVER and I swear this is not a sponsored post, in fact – you guys have requested some more posts about my most recent workouts so I wanted to spill the beans.
For years now, I have had a personal trainer and while I absolute LOVE having a trainer, it was getting very costly and I wanted to take a little break.
I recently got the Mirror and I have been hooked ever since.
So for those of you who are wondering what the heck it is, I am convinced it is the future of fitness. Basically, it is a sleek full-length mirror as we all are familiar with except when turned on, it transforms into an interactive fitness studio in your own home. You use the app on your phone which is synced to the Mirror to choose a workout ranging from everything such as cardio, boxing, strength training, yoga, barre, pilates, HIIT and more. Pretty wild, right?!
I have been especially loving this because I can do this in the comfort of my own home, I can choose if I want to do a 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute workout and I can also choose my different fitness level as well. So some days when I’m more in a rush and just feeling overall tired an weak I can do a quick 15 minute level 1 workout and still feel accomplished I got a little sweat in.
You can choose to enter a “live” class or an “on-demand” class which are taught by certified instructors from the country’s top fitness studios and I’ll be honest, it totally feels like a private training session which I am OBSESSED with.
So what’s the catch, right?
Well, the Mirror itself costs $1,495 and you have to buy a 12-month subscription to the workout classes for $39 per month. It sounds like a lot BUT if you are used to paying for personal training then it actually isn’t that bad considering that is the fee you would have to pay every 2-3 months or so for a personal trainer depending on how often you are going to the gym. So here you are paying a flat fee for the Mirror and then sort of like a gym membership monthly.
If you guys are looking for a way to get some quality workouts in at home and really get the feeling of a personal trainer then I really suggest you check out Mirror. I’m still incorporating going to the gym however since I can get a full body workout and a variety of different classes done at home, I’m more so opting for that and heading to the gym for cardio. I’m sure eventually I’ll head back to the gym and get a personal trainer because there really is something about that one-on-one attention but for now this is an awesome way to get a killer workout and I’m hooked!
