New Years Eve & A Little Reflection

What?!?! It’s New Years Eve!!! How can it already be the last day of 2015?! It boggles my mind, honestly! I feel like the year flew by and just like that..

POOF it’s gone.

But you know what, enough complaining about the fact that the year is gone… it’s time to CELEBRATE the end of one year and the beginning of a brand new one!

What does this mean!? Well – for anyone who had a rough year, it’s a time to start fresh, a time to wipe your slate clean and really you can begin however you want to! For those of you who had an amazing year, well then kudos to you — time to continue on and hell — let’s make 2016 EVEN BETTER.

I have to say, 2015 may quite possibly have been my best year to date. I turned 28 this year and feel like for the first time in my life I am truly SO happy where I am in life! This isn’t to say that I was unhappy before — but it just means that I have finally achieved the goals that I’ve set forth in my life and words CANNOT begin to express how amazing that feels. Now, I still have many more goals but as far as where I have wanted to come with my blog, the achievements I’ve wanted to make and overall the place I’ve wanted to be at.. I’m actually here! It may sound SO cheesy but I swear to you all, when you work your little hiney off nothing…and I mean NOTHING is impossible. Let’s keep in mind.. this girl used to take all her own pictures –tripod, remote control and all — when she first started blogging.. cuz well — that’s what you do when you want something! You make it happen.

No. Matter. What.

This year I quit my day job to pursue blogging full time and I literally wake up every day thanking the universe!! Just the other day I had a conversation with my mom and dad about how incredibly lucky I was to have found my true passion and how happy my work makes me.

Big thanks to all the amazing people who I’ve met this year both personal and work related who have turned into close relationships. You all know who you are and are part of the reason why 2015 is what it is for me. Thank you to everyone who has followed and continues to follow little ol me here on the blog – it means the absolute world.

When you love what you do, you honestly will never work a day in your life and I’ve found that to be 100% the TRUTH.

CHEERS TO THE END OF 2015 AND THE BEGINNING OF 2016.
