NYFW on a Budget with Payless ShoeSource

So today I’m here sharing some EXCITING news!! I practically cannot contain my excitement so I’m just going to go right out and say it! I’m going to NYFW! But hold up — It’s going to be NYFW on a budget people! Ok ok, while that may not sound like such a big deal to some of you out there, every single opportunity that crosses my path I am SO grateful for and I am trying to take it all in as it happens because these are those moments you can never get back!

I mean, it’s that excitement. That feeling of, “OMG, I’m going to NY.”

The reason why I’m even more excited than anything is because I’m heading the New York in collaboration with Payless ShoeSource – a brand that I admire and have worked on recent campaigns for as you have probably seen if you have been following along my blog for some time now. I thought it would be so fun to show you all how amazing it would be to style NYFW on a budget! I want to show you all how you can get the same FAB looks at a total steal! Let’s be honest we don’t have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks, okay?!

One of the biggest perks of my job is that I get to meet and work with some of the most generous companies who truly believe and encourage you – something that is sometimes a little hard to find in the blogging world, I will say! I have worked with Payless ShoeSource for some time now — all the way back to when my blog was much smaller. What is just so great about this is they are one of those amazing brands that has stuck with me through and through and for that I am SO incredibly grateful. They continue to support me as I grow and continue to give me additional opportunities to showcase what I can do – I’m blown away!

When I got the offer from Payless to head to NYFW, meet with the team, head to the Christian Siriano runway show and more I literally probably fell over,.. but once I regained composure I practically had my bags packed. I’ve never actually been to NYFW because I’ll be real – I never could afford it in the past. So with that in mind, I’m heading to New York with a mindset of NYFW on a budget with Payless ShoeSource. I’m going to show you guys that you can look glam without spending those New York style figures (if you know what I mean) and it’s all going to be captured on Instagram, Blog Posts and we will be creating a special video diary of the trip as well! I am SO excited!

I also want this to be a reminder to everyone that really anything and everything is possible when you put your mind to it. As a small San Diego Style Blogger at the beginning I never imagined this could happen but it goes to show – opportunities happen that you could only dream of, so reach for the stars and you’ll probably grab one!
