When speaking about certain brands, a question I get asked often is which particular product might be right for them. It’s so hard at times to figure it out because when reading descriptions we can think they all would be great for us which is why I wanted to break down two of my favorite Olay products (Micro Sculpting Cream vs. Regenerist Whips) to help you determine which may be best for you.

So now let’s get into the nitty gritty of each product, specifically.
I feel like I tend to gravitate more towards the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer since my skin is extremely dry and this is an incredibly a rich, nourishing moisturizer. I would say it’s not only good for dry skin but also normal skin. The reason why this is one of my favorites is because I LOVE the feeling of a very rich cream on my face. I know that some people really don’t love that, so that may be where you’d want to go for the whips but this one is perfect if you do notice your skin gets dry throughout the day as well.
The Micro-Sculpting Cream gives long-lasting hydration and softens the look of fine lines/wrinkles as well as firms the skin a bit (which I love!). If you are someone who wants their moisturizer to absorb immediately, this may not be the one for you since I find it can take a couple minutes to completely soak in.
Next up for those of you who prefer a little more of a light, breathable moisturizer that leaves a matte finish, you may prefer the Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer. This particular moisturizer is great for those who like to feel as tho nothing is there after applying. Also, those of you who feel very shiny throughout the day — this one may be for you. I do find that this one is great for when you are in a rush in the morning and need your moisturizer to absorb super quickly. It’s also a fantastic option if you want a moisturizer that can also act as a makeup primer as well!
