The Clarins Summer Collection

You guys know my love and obsession for Clarins. I always say any brands that come from my French roots are hands down the best – but not only because they are French (and I may be a little biased) but because their products really ARE amazing.

Today I’m going to be talking all about the new Clarins Summer Collection that I tested, tried and LOVED! 

Lets start with the Bronzing Compact. The packaging is to die for adorable with its flamingo and tropical leaf look which just is the perfect addition to your bag this summer. Seeing as how I’m an Esthetician it’s probably no surprise I’m not a huge fan of putting my face in the direct sunlight. With that being said, it also means my face is never as tan as the rest of my body which is why I always rely on a great bronzer. The compact itself contains a trio of matte tones that can give you any kind of bronzed and sun-kissed look this summer. You really can control the glow since the colors are pigmented and buildable. I also love that it has the three different tones so you can really customize your look. Another tip I like to do? I LOVE using a bronzer in the crease of my eyes for an additional pop – plus it makes it so that you don’t have to travel with a ton of products!

Next up, the Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is actually one of my favorites not only for the summer but year round! I was actually introduced to their Lip Oils back when I went on the beyond amazing trip to St. Tropez with them last year. They had a variety of colors and I instantly fell in love and have been using them ever since so it’s no surprise this oil is part of their summer collection “must-have.” If you’ve been following me for a while then you know I’m big on lips! I think it is one of the sexiest features on a woman and who doesn’t want a great moisturized lip?! This lip oil is infused with 100% pure plant oils to help mourish, sooth and plump your lips. Yep, I said plump — and it truly does help give you that pouty look that we all want! Sometimes I’ll wear this alone for a more natural look and to hydrate my lips otherwise I’ll apply it on top of any lip color I wear out for an extra shine. Another trick I’ve found is that if you apply a small amount before your lipstick, it helps your lipstick glide on perfectly!!

For the eyes it’s time we talk about the 4-Colour All-In-One Pen that literally gives me all the feels from my childhood. I mean, lets not pretend we all didn’t have one of these pens back in elementary school. Well now, Clarins has re-invented the old pent and made it makeup ready for all our needs! This is an all-in-one lining pen perfect for summer with its 4 retractable beach chic shades. There are three shades for the eyes (black, emerald and plum) and one for the lips (pink). I love to because I can slip it into my bag and have everything I need in one pen! I used the pink shade in today’s post to line and fill in my lips a bit and then topped it with the lip oil!

Last but not least, to complete my makeup look I always go for a trusted mascara! I love their Supra Volume Mascara because it does exactly that – gives tons of volume!! Basically it is a double effect mascara that gives extra volume for a full magnified lash look. It doesn’t clump (which is key) and it is super long wearing!
