As you guys have probably noticed, the 90s revival is here in full force and the biggest takeaway from that era? The micro sunglass trend is here. To be honest, even as a fashion blogger it still shocks me how crazy the trends can actually go. One month its oversized sunglasses and the next its micro sized shades. I swear, its impossible to keep up! But if you are into fashion like me, it makes life super fun.
I’ve been sporting a lot of 90s style shades here on the blog like these retro cat-eye sunnies and in today’s post I’m just loving these micro oval shaped red tinted sunglasses as well. Makes for something so different and don’t you think it adds something extra to a simple jeans & white tee look? What I suggest doing when it comes to a trend like this is don’t splurge yet on a very expensive version yet.
Try it out with some more inexpensive choices. To be honest, I don’t see this being a trend that is going to last a long time since although the small retro shades are cute, they don’t really serve the purpose of what sunglasses are all for — protecting sun from your eyes!! I’ve purchased a few inexpensive versions of sunglasses but I haven’t splurged yet on a designer pair. Waiting to see if I’m still fully committed to the trend before that happens..
