Gone are the days when olive green was only for the military, right?! The olive fashion trend has been popping up everywhere lately, have you noticed? Olive is pretty much the new neutral, and so it really can go with anything and be worn alone or even worked into other prints and stripes.

 I personally love the trend and when I saw this Target blazer I knew it was a perfect fit for an all black outfit with a pop of color. I wanted olive to be the focal point and this was exactly what I was looking for.

In my first look, I went for more of a sophisticated look for heading out to dinner with girlfriends or a date night. I also wanted to show how easily olive can be worn for casual wear as well! I love these olive colored shorts above (along with the high waisted trend that I can’t get enough of) and of course just simplifying the look with a crisp white top and gladiator sandals to head out for the day.
Remember, the olive trend is really versatile and can be worn in all clothing pieces from jackets, vests, rompers and pants so don’t be scared to try something different this season especially because this olive fashion trend is hot, hot, hot!
