Happy Friday everyone! I apologize for the lack of posts this week. With the 4th of July holiday I decided to take a little break from the blog which was so nice and much needed but I’m back fully energized and ready to create some new content for you all. With having the week off, I really got to thinking about what I wanted to touch on and it is something I live my life by — the power of positive thinking.
Now, I’m not going to bore you with the stories of how I got to where I am now and what obstacles I’ve had to overcome in my past but I want you to know my life hasn’t always been perfect and I’ve definitely had to work through things to get where I am today.
Life is hard and let’s be honest, we’ve all struggled through parts of it. We have all undergone many obstacles that test our strength and character and we’ve probably both succeeded and failed at times. However having failed quite often and learned from it, I live my life by ensuring that I do not give off negative energy.
One of the most important steps you can take toward achieving your greatest potential in life is to learn to monitor your attitude and its impact on your work performance, relationships and everyone around you. Now, I’m not going to say I’m perfect and never have any negative thoughts that go through my brain but what I’ve learned is that as soon as those negative thoughts rear their ugly head it’s in my best interest to try to turn them off and just look at the bright side of things.
The reason why? I truly believe your reality is a reflection of what you have built in your mind. Be happy and your reality will become happy. Life and all we do are a matter of perspective. To be honest we can find the bad things in any circumstance if we look because they will be there. We will always see what we look for, and if your attitude has you looking for the negative aspect of any circumstance, you will find negativity. I mean, have you ever been around an extremely negative pessimistic person and all the sudden you feel down yourself? Just realize there is always a silver lining in everything we do. Be happy in attitude and your perspective on things and you will realize that your life will go far better than some of those around you.

I try to use positive thinking. Sometime it doesn’t always work but it helps. Your top is really cute!

I’m 100% with you on positive thinking! Not everything will go well or perfect but having the right mindset helps you handle tough situations much better. I had to ensure positive thinking throughout my diagnosis and I really think that is what helps me with a good outcome!

I also agree with you on the power of positive thinking… It truly works, but only if you really want it to and you make it a priority to be in control of your thoughts and no matter what, try to see every aspect of your life from a positive point of view.
