When it comes to blogging (and life in general) the list of things that take time is truly endless. Although people think we just post a photo and call it a day, in all reality it really does take a lot of effort and TIME. Running a blog takes a hell of a lot of work, perseverance and energy but it can also be extremely rewarding. With that being said, I’ve rounded up my top 5 time saving hacks for bloggers.
ASK YOUR AUDIENCE
One of the most time consuming parts of a blog is actually finding the right blog post topics. What I’ve learned is to save time why not take some post requests from your readers? Not only will you be helping yourself but you can make sure that you are creating quality content that your audience wants to read, consume, comment & engage. It’s a total win-win.
SHOOT PHOTOS IN BULK
If you take photos for your blog posts, it can seriously get overwhelming to find enough pictures to last. So instead of shooting one item or look at a time, set aside a block of time each week to take a bunch of photos. Yes, this requires a bit of planning but it saves you a ton of time in the long run.
THUMB SCROLL WISELY
I’ve been SO guilty to somehow spend hours of my time checking out the latest Instagram posts only to suddenly snap out of it and realize how much time I just wasted thumb scrolling. Whether it is for work or just to stay updated, it’s important to set boundaries on how often and for how long you are spending time on your social media game. If there is a method to the madness, then great but lets be honest — how many times have you ended up on your friends cousins sisters boyfriends IG page and then realize WTF am I doing scrolling through this random persons feed? Do yourself a favor and set time limits and try to stay in your lane.
TEMPLATES
For those of you who do a lot of collages and graphics, try to create a few of your favorite templates and save them. It may take a bit of time upfront to create the templates but in the long run when you want to upload a new collage or graphic to your blog you will only need to change the text and titles in your template and save the file! Easy peasy and a total time saving hack!
CHECK THE TIME
This probably sounds like the most obvious one of them all but I’m going to be honest, I’m SO guilty of not setting timers or just checking my watch in general to see how much time has passed and if I’m staying on track. I’m now making sure to wear a watch all the time during the day so I can make a conscious effort to make sure I’m doing different tasks I have within reasonable time. So a big suggestion is to invest in a great watch that you are going to want to wear regularly and make it a habit to check how long its taking you to get through your workload. My current favorite watches are from CLUSE including the one I’m wearing in today’s post that you can find here. Make sure to check out the rest of their collection of watches here, plus I promise they won’t break the bank either!
Hope you guys enjoyed these simple time saving hacks! Make sure to leave me any others in the comments below! Always love hearing your feedback and ideas to better myself!

I love these tips! So helpful when time is everything! Question: do you edit your own photos for posts? I find this to be my most time consuming part so I was wondering what do you use to edit and if you edit in bulk as well?
Thank you!
