If anyone knows me, then they know I am quite the homebody. I love my home, especially because it’s something I’ve worked so hard for in my life. I have a knack for home decor and it’s a true passion of mine. I honestly could decorate a home over and over again and never get sick of it. HGTV is my number one TV channel and favorite TV show is Fixer Upper – anyone with me? Part of me thinks I should have entered into the world of interior design back when I was in college – but then again, maybe I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much as I do now.I have a large place for just myself and Merlot (my pup) but I still tried to create a home in which all spaces could be utilized (minus my spare guest bedroom). First thing you will probably notice is that my home is primarily white. I’ve always wanted a white home – so when I got my new place, it had that modern flare as a base and I knew I could go with my white. White to me screams clean, elegant, simple, modern and really makes spaces appear larger in my opinion. Plus, I figured I might as well get in all the white I can now before I have kids someday!

For the most part you will see I furnished/decorated my home with IKEA. I have always loved IKEA and wanted to show you all how you can transform IKEA furniture into something great. This is a way for you to see you don’t have the spend a million bucks to make your home look like a million bucks.
