Not gonna lie – Mondays are a struggle, am I right? But I’d like to reverse the trend and look at it as a way to set yourself up to have a positive, healthy start to the week. Here are 5 ways to start your week off RIGHT.
COFFEE, ALWAYS
I say on Monday, get fancy with your coffee and get something a little more fun to start the week off right. Whether you make yourself a fancy cup at home or reward yourself for waking up early and getting to your fav coffee in store 🙂
PLAN YOUR WEEK OUT
We always focus on the chores and work-related things we need to cross off our checklist BUT, don’t forget to write down/decorate the space in your planner around the activities that you are looking forward to. This way you are not just focused on the not-so-fun things you have going on this week.
PICK AN AFFIRMATION FOR THE WEEK
Select a positive affirmation that will help you with any challenges you may face during the week. Set it as your lock screen on your phone so you will see it repeatedly throughout the week or write it down and hang it somewhere you pass by often.
TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO YOURSELF
After you make it through your Monday, treat yourself to a little self-pampering. Draw yourself a bubble bath, do a facial, mani/pedis, meditate, enjoy a nice dinner, have a movie night, go for a walk… do whatever you love to do to relax a little.
BLOCK THE HATERS
But seriously, minimizing negativity in your day-to-day interactions will help keep you in a positive mental state. Keeping a “can-do” attitude will help promote the productivity to carry you through the rest of the week.
