Why Owning a Denim Jacket is a MUST

Few things are as classic and versatile as denim and well, there’s a reason why I own about 7 pairs of denim jackets right now. I know, I know might sound crazy but it’s just SUCH a great staple piece. Today I’m sharing a few reasons why you need to add a denim jacket in your life and I promise you’ll be running to the mall to snatch one by the end of this.

IT’S A CLASSIC

A jean jacket is a classic wardrobe piece that will NEVER go out of style. I repeat, will never go out of style. To be honest, when I first got a denim jacket I didn’t think I would wear it at all. I had no idea that it would be the one piece I got the most use out of in my closet and well that might be why I own so many now. Bottom line, a jean jacket is a classic and totally worth splurging on because you’ll wear it season after season!

WORKS FOR MULTIPLE SEASONS

So the great thing about a denim jacket is that it’s not just for spring or summer. As you guys can see in today’s post it’s winter and I’m wearing mine. For colder months I love layering a hoodie under it for a different look.

LOOKS GOOD WITH EVERYTHING

Denim is that one shade that you can wear with anything. It looks amazing with all styles -shorts, dresses or pants and ALL colors from camel, to black to even floral prints. It really is a great piece to just grab and go because it pairs over everything perfectly. I also love tying it at the waist for a different look!

THERE IS A STYLE FOR EVERYONE

Since jean jackets are such a classic wardrobe piece there is a style out there for everyone! To be completely honest, the reason why I have about 7 pairs is because I have a bunch of different styles. I have a boyfriend fit, a tight fit, cropped, embroidered one, light and dark wash. Yep, it’s THAT versatile and trust me they all go perfect with each outfit just kind of depends on the look you are going for. Right now I’m a little more into the oversized look but of course styles change and I’m sure I’ll be back to my cropped one in no time.
