Welcome to my updated living room!
During this whole quarantine time I have been deep into home renovations/redecorating. I’ve been wanting to update all my furniture for quite some time but had to wait until the right time. Now that my bigger home renovations are done it was time to move onto my furniture which was SO fun! I wanted to give my space a more fresh, modern look and have furniture that I felt really flowed throughout the home. I also had a desire to add some pops of color throughout the home which I definitely feel like I achieved. My favorite colors right now are mustard yellow, navy blue and mixing in wood textures and so that’s exactly what I did!
My living room is a space that isn’t utilized as much as my family room since it’s more of a formal living space but because it’s right off of the fireplace I would catch myself spending a lot of time there during the colder months. I do have a lot of large windows and natural lighting so I definitely wanted the space to feel light, airy and happy.
I’m still waiting on a little console to go behind the couch but it’s been backordered so I wasn’t able to add it into the photos here but I’ll make sure to share it on my IG Stories when it comes!
So here’s a little about the pieces I purchased along with all the links:
Reflection Rug: I got my rug from West Elm, but it appears it is not available anymore however they have a ton of other options that look almost identical to mine. Here is one that I feel matches very closely to what I have and the size I purchased was 8×10.
Cosmo Side Table: I love this side table. It was pretty inexpensive and very chic/modern looking as well and can be cleaned very easily! I added it between my two accent chairs and I love the way it looks.
Carved Wood Coffee Table: I was a little afraid at first that this coffee table was going to be too low but I absolutely love the way it turned out. I wanted to add some more wood elements to my home and this raw mango color is stunning in person.
Andes Sofa: I love this sofa. It had a wide (deep) seating area and can fit two people comfortably. You can also choose the color fabric and type which makes it nice and customizable. I went with the distressed velvet mineral gray with blackened brass.
Swivel Chair: The two accent chairs I went with was this pleated swivel chair in navy velvet and I will say – these might be my favorite part of the living room. I had seen them in store a while ago and knew I had to have them and I’ve been obsessed with this color for so long so wanted to try to incorporate it somehow. On top of it – I can’t explain to you guys how comfortable the chair is!
Here are a few extra accessories:
Yellow Pillow, Blue Pillow, Throw Blanket, Plant
Hope you guys enjoyed my updated living room space, let me know what you think!!
