If you follow me on Instagram then you guys know I’ve been doing a lot of furnishing and re-decorating and my dining room was one of those spots in the home that needed an upgrade. I think I mentioned this in one of my last “home” posts but I had been working to incorporate more wood elements into my home since I believe it gives a warmth that you don’t get from other styles and my dining room was a space I had always wanted a beautiful reclaimed wood table. Honestly, I had searched high and low for a table that felt like “me” and I finally found it only there was a little problem. Right after I ordered it, COVID-19 was in full force shutting down the supply chain and my table was going to be about 3 months backordered. Oh and of course not knowing this, I had sold all my old dining furniture so I pretty much lived with an empty space for a few months but honestly it was no big deal and totally worth it in the end.
The table I went with was the West Elm Emmerson Dining Table in Reclaimed Pine (72″). I was deciding between this one and the grey tone but ultimately because I wanted to add warmth to my home I thought this was the perfect color. I also wanted to add more color and if you saw this post of my updated living room then you know I have been adding blues and yellow tones to the space and felt a warmer toned wood would work best with the home. I also incorporated these beautiful saffron colored Finley chairs to the space and I couldn’t be more happy with how it all turned out. After these photos were taken I added two additional chairs to the table so the final look is a total of 6 chairs but because everything arrived at different times I made it work for the photos as is! I’d eventually like to change my chandellier but you know, everything in its own time.
Hope you guys enjoy and all the links to everything will be posted below! xoxo
