Favorite Summer Wardrobe Essentials

Once summer rolls around, it’s my time to evaluate my wardrobe for what I know I’ll reach for most – the essentials. I’m obsessed with versatile basics thats can be mixed and matched with various different accessories making my life way easier in the morning (and evenings) when getting ready. I truly have moved away from racks and racks of clothings to more a more minimal wardrobe since I do feel like once you nail the basics you can add additional trending pieces as you wish. Here is the list of my favorite summer wardrobe essentials all women need.

White T-Shirt

I consider this a year-round wardrobe staple, but a short sleeve white tee is especially helpful on hot summer days because it shouldn’t show sweat. I recommend investing in one that will last many years without shrinking and that goes with skirts, jeans, and more casual looks.

Tank Tops/ Crops

Tank tops, body suits or my personal favorite right now – crop tops are perfect since they can help keep you cool in the summer but also look great paid with high waisted denim!

Denim Shorts

Denim shorts are a staple go-to in the summer. I will say, now that I’m in my 30s, I’ve moved away from the short shorts and I’m digging the longer trending shorts right now. It’s just not me to show off my booty, ya know? But hey, you do you. I love the look of a cute polished jean short with a blouse. The feminine +laiid back combo is a total summer staple. 

Dressy Sandals

Unless it’s a semi-formal event, I’m not reaching for pumps, but a little lift feels good for date night or girls’ night out. I love a mix of strappy heeled sandals and heeled mules for summertime. I also like sticking to nude, white & black for simplicity.

Sunglasses

As an esthetician, I’m going to go out on a whim and just say sunglasses should be a part of your skin care routine during the summer – seriously! When I’m driving around town, eating outdoors, or walking the neighborhood, I always wear an oversized pair of sunnies in addition to SPF and a hat. Remember to always protect that skin!
