We all have our phones strapped to our body at all times and I’ll be honest, I have quite a few apps that are on high rotation. I’m not going to categorize these in any way but simply just list them out and tell you WHY I love and use them so much.
Headspace
Frist I want to start with this one because I used to use this a lot. Headspace is a mindfulness app with a super easy to use interface that takes the seriousness and intimidation out of meditation. That was until I discovered…
Peloton
I know what youre thinking – Peloton is for riding your bike and working out. Actually it’s so much more than that. After exploring more of their online platform filled with different types of workouts etc.. they have a section of meditation and it’s FILLED with tons of amazing different meditations to follow. I have been using this every single night before bed. Meditating really helps me be a calmer person with less anxiety. I highly recommend this app (or Headspace) to anyone who is trying to become more centered.
Canva
I actually had a free Canva account for years and never really used it. More recently I set aside time to actually learn the ins and outs of Canva and I’m obsessed! So impressed that I now use the paid version. I use Canva to make IG stories, Pinterest thumbnails, collages and blog post thumbnails. Canva makes it so easy for you to get creative and personalize templates to your liking.
Lightroom Mobile
Lightroom is a favorite! I have been using it for years to edit my photos for Instagram and my blog. I usually use the desktop version but when I’m in a pinch or traveling I ALWAYS use Lightroom. I don’t like to filter out my photos and prefer to just enhance the natural colors so Lightroom is perfect. When using lightroom you are able to apply presets to your photos to get that consistent look if interested. You could also freestyle it and edit your pictures to your liking the way I do!
Gmail
This is no surprise but I thought it was worth noting since I much more prefer using the Gmail app rather than the iPhone mail app for my emails. It’s way easier to navigate and I have always had much better luck with it.
Mint
Mint is a free budgeting app that allows you to connect all of your financial accounts in one digital space so you get a high-level overview of your financial health. The app also allows users to track spending and savings and set and track budget goals. I love the interface and it’s super easy to navigate.
Spotify
The only app I use for music. Period.
Google Drive
I use the good drive app for everything. When working with brands, I upload projects into my drive and share different folders with brands. Also share photos with people, documents etc.. The convenience of this, is I can access it from anywhere (my laptop, my phone, iPad etc..) and every time a document is updated, it is automatically updated everywhere. Makes everything seamless.
Instacart
No more need for long supermarket trips for me! Instacart gives you the unique opportunity to get your groceries delivered directly to your front door. Items get delivered super quickly and using the app will save you a lot of time and trouble! What makes it so great is that Instacart works with local grocery stores, including Whole Foods Market, Ralph’s or Costco. I use it ALL the time. Yes there is a small fee, but for me its SO worth when I’m in a time crunch and have other things to get done. Kind of like I have an assistant helping me get all my groceries for the week.
Scanner Pro
I have to scan things ALL the time for work – contracts, receipts etc.. Scanner pro has been my best friend since I don’t have a regular scanner at home. I just scan my items using this app, export them to my computer and send to who needs it! It has been a lifesaver for years.
