No matter your size or shape, body shapers perform absolute miracles when you decide to wear them. If you’ve got a big event coming up and want a little something extra to help you look and feel your best I am a firm believer there is no harm in using shape wear to give yourself a bit of a helping hand and a super sleek silhouette. For anyone who thinks celebrities don’t wear them, you are definitely mistaken. Guaranteed half the women you see walking the red carpet have a little secret hiding under those gorgeous gowns and it’s probably a body shaper in some form.
There is honestly shapewear for everything from maximum control to even leggings that reduce the appearance of cellulite (and let me tell you — EVERY woman has cellulite and/or stretch marks so don’t let it get to you).
For anyone a bit nervous about it, there are a variety of compression levels. Light control will smooth bulges and eliminate panty lines. Moderate control stops pesky jiggling and firm control will actually take off inches. I’ve found that high compression shapers can seriously reduce your waistline by 1-4 inches. But if you’re a bit hesitant, start with the light control and see how you feel.
Now, although I’d love to believe I have the perfect body, sadly I don’t and to be honest, who does?! Having a little compression help is perfect for those unwanted bulges for a special night out or those dresses that never seem to fit right. Another thing I love about shapers is that they can provide great bust support. I love the shapers like the one I’m wearing today from Maidenform which is their torsette style because it is an undercut shaper which rises to the area just below your bra which provides not only bust support, instant lift but also smooths that mid section. Another thing is you have the freedom to wear your favorite bra with it so you are extremely comfortable.

I’d love to win this because I’d buy it in a cup size larger than I am to give me more of an hourglass figure. My breasts are very small (the right one is even smaller because I had breast cancer). So to have this to smooth out my waistline and yet add a bit of fullness to my breasts would be amazing.
