As you guys are probably aware of from following me on Instagram, I just got back from a beyond amazing trip to Sonoma County, California where I had a super fun girls trip and stayed at the famous Farmhouse Inn! This was my first time at Farmhouse and because of my girlfriend’s rave reviews I knew I HAD to check it out.
They were SO kind to host me, Stephanie of The City Blonde and Erika of Whiskey and Lace for a fun girl trip. I can’t even express to you guys how amazing this trip was. It was actually my very first time out to Sonoma even though I live in California and am obsessed with all things wine — crazy right!?
I KNOW.
I was SO excited to stay at the Farmhouse Inn since it’s a KNOWN spot in Sonoma County. Even though my expectations were high, it surpassed it all on the first night in literally every regard. From the moment Erika and I got there we were greeted with a warm welcome by the attentive staff with of course a glass of wine while we waited to get checked in! I mean, if only all hotels did this, right?!
Our bags had been collected from our car and taken into our separate rooms so that when we got there everything was already set. Speaking of rooms – lets talk about that because I was blown away from the moment I walked in. The attention to detail was everywhere. Gorgeous modern colors and textures and a perfect design/layout. I honestly could not get over how spacious my room was! There was a two sided gas fireplace so that I could enjoy both inside and outside on the private patio. The bathroom was so large as well; it had a jetted tub, heated floors (yes, I said heated floors) and a steam shower. Did I mention they do a turn down service around 6-7pm where they get your room ready for night time and leave you a couple beyond delicious gluten free chocolate chip cookies?
I mean, can you say heaven?
The hotel grounds itself had a gorgeous outdoor pool (which you can see in the photos above) an outdoor fire pit where us girls sat around drinking wine and chatting a couple nights and of course a restaurant on site. I have to say, the Farmhouse Inn is one of the most luxuries rooms and grounds I’ve ever seen in a hotel and definitely made my stay in Sonoma just THAT much better. The setting is quiet, romantic and revitalizing which is always the vibe that I personally prefer when it comes to where I stay. I remember coming home from my stay and immediately just raving to anyone and everyone who asked me how my trip was by telling them how amazing Farmhouse was and I just HAD to go back. To be honest, before I even left Sonoma I was already thinking about my next trip back!! It was THAT good you guys — I swear.
For those of you looking to make a fun little getaway to Wine Country make SURE to check out Farmhouse Inn. I promise, you will be so happy you took my advice!! Hope you enjoy this little photo diary!
