Alright, now we are onto my next budget home project – my rental property’s kitchen & dining room! These were so fun to decorate and really helped make the house feel like a “home.” Like I’ve said in some of my previous posts on this budget home project, I didn’t necessarily go “cheap.” I’m always the type that likes to splurge and get something of quality when I feel the home needs it and then find ways to save on other items which is exactly what I did with the design of this home. I got a few key pieces that were a little more expensive (but till not bad) and then shopped around to find where I could find the best deals for what I wanted.
Because the home is a mid-century modern style and I had a particular vision in mind, I knew I wanted a round dining table that could seat 4 comfortably with some kind of wood texture and when I found this one I absolutely fell in love and knew it would be perfect for the space. Regarding the chairs, these were actually the same ones I saw when the home was staged and I was looking to purchase it. I absolutely loved them and did some digging and found the exact ones and immediately purchased them.
That leads me to my next point – A good thing to note when homes are being sold is you can really get a great of idea of layout of the home and how to decorate it yourself by paying attention to the staging.
Moving onto the kitchen, it was basically just a play on adding some greenery, some cute decor on the shelves and really anything that ties in well with the kitchen. Will post everything I got in the links below. Hope you enjoy!
