Make the Dream Yours

My home is one of the places I find the most pride, joy and interest in. Call me crazy but there’s something about becoming a homeowner or settling into your very own place. For as long as I have had my own place, I have been a huge IKEA advocate and for any of you who have followed me for some time then you most likely already know this. Just a couple months ago, I re-did my entire kitchen with IKEA and in fact I’m currently remodeling my bathrooms as well which is why I wanted to go more into detail on this little home post.

Now why am I talking about this? Because fashion to me doesn’t ONLY exist when it comes to clothing. Fashion and style are in everything around us and a home is where you can have SO much fun bringing your taste together in a completely different way.

The latest message from IKEA is one that speaks volumes to me. Make the Dream Yours – it’s all about living your own version of the American Dream. THIS is exactly what I love about the brand. They believe that everyone should be able to, no matter what, be able to afford a space that is entirely yours. Their products are not only affordable but almost everything is functional, which in today’s hectic world is KEY. We work so hard, so shouldn’t our homes work just as hard as we do? That’s what IKEA believes and hey, they are right!
