My Dream Kitchen

Welcome to my (dream) kitchen!

Ok guys – I actually did a post about my kitchen a little while back but got some better photos taken and wanted to share it again with all the new updates. I bought this house in July of last year and didn’t move in until about end of August (last year) or so because I had a lot of construction and home improvements going on. I will say, if you ever have the opportunity to fix up a place and live somewhere else, DO IT. My last place I lived in while major construction was going on and it was a total nightmare so I saved extra money this time around to be able to live separately while everything was being worked on in the home. Just think how terrible living in mess, dust, dirt and people in and out all day long could be.

Anyways, a little about my new kitchen (and home) in general. The home originally had walls everywhere and a tiny (older) kitchen. The kitchen originally had a load bearing wall right where the new kitchen island is so a large support beam was put up in the attic, ultimately giving me what is now this large kitchen which is definitely one of the biggest focal points to the home. I always wanted a home that had an open concept layout and that is exactly what I have now.

Everything in the kitchen is all stainless steel appliances, a lot of white as you can tell, a gigantic kitchen island which can seat 4-5 comfortably (although I stuck with just 4 bar stool chairs to make it less cluttered), and — (drumroll please) a WINE FRIDGE! I’m a huge gold lover so it’s no surprise I was in love with all the gold hardware on the cabinets, faucet and light fixtures as well.

I will let the photos do the rest of the talking and at the bottom I’ll list out all the different pieces in the kitchen that I have if you are interested in purchasing!
