If you guys didn’t know already, I am no stranger to hair extensions by any means. However, I will say it’s been a freaking eternity since I have picked up some extensions and actually decided to put some in again. I’ve loved my shorter hair way too much these days and can’t quite commit to permanent extensions as of now, which its why clip-in extensions are everything to me. You guys have probably been seeing me rocking this ponytail extension from Cashmere Hair (here and here) and I was so obsessed with it that I knew I had to snatch up a regular set of clip-ins to add to my collection as well. After falling in love with it just as much I thought I had to hop on here and create a full review and walk-thru of why I picked Cashmere and what I love most about them!
So one thing that drew me to Cashmere was that they offer several different styles of extensions dependent upon the type of look and the texture of your natural hair. They offer the classic set, seamless, ponytails and one pieces. As I mentioned before, I do have a ponytail set but when I decided to go for a full clip-in set I went for the seamless collection. The reason being was because it is specifically designed for us gals who have fine & thin hair. The track is much thinner than any other clip-ins I’ve come across in the past making it virtually undetectable when attaching it to your hair.
Now moving onto the color matching. They have the BEST team available for color matching. Honestly, they nailed it the first time for me and I had zero issues whatsoever. They have a “color matching” tab available on their site where you can submit your photos but for even faster response you can text them to the number listed there on the page and they will match you immediately. It’s pretty incredible. I was matched with Sunset Blonde and ultimately went with the 16″ length. Here is the direct link to the one I got. Again, it was spot on. Oh and I highly recommend the Cashmere Brush, it really works wonders for brushing out the extensions properly and not getting tangled in your own hair.
I’ve been playing with the extensions a bunch and they are so fun. They blend in so easily and if you are new to clip-in extensions and not really too sure how to apply, they have so many different tutorials and videos on how to apply them right on their website and have a great instagram page. Honestly I think because everyone’s hair is so different, it just takes a bit of practice and figuring out what works best for you but once you get the hang of it, it’s a piece of cake!!
