As you guys probably know from my instagram, I recently got back from a quick little trip to Cabo San Lucas with some girlfriends and it was a trip I’ll never forget! I was so fortunate enough to have stayed at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and I’m not lying when I say this, but I don’t think I can stay anywhere else in Cabo after it!
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is honestly one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever seen. To begin, we were greeted with 4 rounds of drinks within about 30 minutes of arriving and well, I definitely wasn’t complaining.
When in Rome, err I mean Cabo… right?!
We had daily butler service (Stephano was ours and he was THE BEST) to show us around, and help with anything and everything we needed. There also was an oceanfront VIP Lounge which we spent quite a bit of time in, a huge gym and so many amazing restaurants and amenities to enjoy.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort is a luxury all-inclusive adults only resort along the Pacific coast. It’s located a short car ride away from the main city of Cabo San Lucas. One of the perks of being a guest there is that you can visit all their other properties nearby. While you really don’t ever have to leave the resort, we did enjoy exploring the other properties and restaurants. I also want to note, I have stayed at some all inclusive resorts in the past and honestly the food has never been something to brag about. However, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was on another level. The food there was incredible and every restaurant had something different. We were in awe.
Some of our favorites:
The Market at Quivira – This one is located at PB Sunset and we came here for lunch after arriving. I would definitely suggest going there for lunch when you can! It is Inspired by the great food halls of Europe, so there are so many different options of food to choose from no matter the mood you are in!
Pescados – Pescados is where we had our first dinner of the trip and it was the perfect way to kick off our stay since it’s right at the resort when you’re feeling a little tired after travel. This restaurant offers a casually elegant ambiance to complement its delicious sushi menu. I actually don’t eat raw fish but they had so many delicious other options as well and I was in heaven.
Quivira Clubhouse – We had an amazing breakfast/brunch here and it was stunning. It was right on the golf course and we sat facing the ocean which was the most relaxing and enjoyable way to enjoy our morning coffee. Food was amazing.
Península – This is where we had our last dinner and it was the perfect way to end our stay. It’s a modern restaurant serving traditional Baja cuisine and is located underneath the VIP lounge overlooking the ocean. I mean, does it get better than that?
LaFrida – I HAVE to give this restaurant a BIG shoutout. The experience we had here was unmatched and I’m just so grateful for all that the staff did for us here. LaFrida is located at the Sunset Beach resort and features authentic and upscale Mexican food. We sat outside with a view overlooking the property and it was absolutely stunning. The staff here was incredible and we got to meet Chef Carlos who clearly has a gift because our meal was one we will never forget. They prepared a 6 course custom dinner for us with wine pairings that were beyond! I honestly can’t even tell you guys which course was my favorite because each was just as delicious as the next. To end the dinner, they suggested Mexican Coffee which included the most amazing show as they prepared it and presentation was top notch (fire and everything). I cannot thank the staff enough for their generosity and overall hospitality and for making sure we were enjoying our experience. This is one you don’t want to miss!
The resort takes pride in everything they do and I encourage you to check out all the activities they offer, like the mixology class and the wine tasting.
BRB, reminiscing about that wine tasting for a second…
We spent most of our days relaxing on the beach and our favorite spot was definitely the cabanas. Rene was our server during the day while we worked on our tan and relaxed in the cabana overlooking the ocean. He was there for everything we needed and always was down to help us snap a photo. #Winning!
Miguel definitely deserves a shoutout as well. He was there throughout the trip to ensure we were well taken care of and made sure we tried the Coco Mint inside of a coconut because, you know I NEEDED to snap a pic 😉 The next day he even had Pina Colada’s inside of a pineapple for another unmatched presentation.
Since we were there to relax, one activity we weren’t going to miss was the Armonia Spa. Getting a good massage is one of my favorite ways to relax, so having one while on vacation equals pure bliss. If you feel the same way then book an appointment, maybe one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Not even exaggerating.
All in all, this was one of the best girls trips I’ve ever had with two of my closest gal pals and an experience we honestly will never forget. Not gonna lie, pretty sure we shed a few tears thinking how grateful and lucky we were in those moments. I cannot thank the entire staff at Pueblo Bonito enough for their hospitality and service that I think could very well be unmatched.
Stephano: Thank you for being there to guide and help us the entire trip. For walking us to our activities/restaurants and making sure we had the best trip ever. Also can’t forget, making sure we had tequila shots in our room when we arrived. If we could have packed Stephano in our suitcases and taken him back to San Diego with us, I’m pretty sure each and every one of us would have.
Miguel: Thank you for your hospitality and generosity the entire trip. For tracking us down wherever we were in the resort to say hi and make sure we were doing ok. It was such a pleasure talking to you and getting to know more about you and I’ll always remember it. Also, those drinks will never be topped.
Rene: I’m sorry we made you take 52,384 photos of us that probably all looked identical to begin with. Thank you for your patience and for always offering us more tequila shots.
Carlos: Thank you for being the BEST wine sommelier and teaching us how to appreciate wine like a true pro at our tasting. Also, thank you for getting us more cheese when we devoured it all and for turning my non wine drinking friend Tammy into a potential wine lover.
Alex: Thank YOU for a trip of a lifetime and for being so generous with your accommodations from start to finish and for providing us with an experience of Cabo San Lucas that we will remember forever. I’m truly grateful to have met each and every one of you and hope we will meet again in the future!
